Description
A set of 6 labour stations representing the cervix, vagina and fetal head before labour, during labour and at birth. Midwifery students practise assessing effacement, dilation and station.
Stations
- Station −5: before the onset of labour
- Station −4: cervix partially effaced
- Station −3: cervix fully effaced
- Station 0: fetal head at the ischial spines
- Station +2: cervix nearly fully dilated
- Station +5: crowning
